Chief Executive Officer
Donald Hall
I am from Aviemore and studied Outdoor Education in the Community at the University of Strathclyde between 2002-2007. I spent a few years working in the adventure sports industry in Canada before returning to the area in 2013. I have volunteered with various local organisations and have worked for National Governing Bodies, High Life Highland and Highland and Islands Enterprise over the last decade. I enjoy travelling and exploring the outdoors with my wife Jacqueline and our cocker spaniel Rosa.

Finance Manager
Donna MacPherson
As Finance Officer for Badenoch & Strathspey Community Connections, I support the organisation’s financial management to help ensure services continue to benefit people across the community. I live locally in Aviemore and enjoy yoga, walking, and exploring the outdoors with my dogs.

Operations Manager
Sarah McWilliam
My role as the Operations Manager focuses on our Operational efficiency. I have over five years experience in the charity sector, from supporting women & children affected by domestic abuse, to helping asylum seekers settle into life in Scotland & working internationally with NGOs and grassroots. Now back in my native Highlands, I’m passionate about helping my community. In my spare time, you’ll usually find me exploring Scotland in my campervan or out hillwalking with my wee dog Juna

Social Development Manager
Donna Shaw
My role within the company is to engage with both individuals and groups and look for ways to lessen social isolation and loneliness.
In my spare time, I volunteer for various local community projects and enjoy spending time with my family.

Befriending Coordinator
Carolina Flannery
In my role as Befriending Coordinator, we have a team of volunteers who assist those who feel they are socially isolated or struggle to leave their home. Our aim is to combat this and assist those in need.
In my previous role I worked in Admin for a company who assisted adults with additional needs with independent living.

Vehicle Manager & Minibus Driver
Ronnie Cook
I have lived in Aviemore for 45 years.
Prior to starting with BSCC, I have had numerous driving jobs for local taxi and bus companies.
I’m looking forward to learning about my new role and getting to know all our clients as a drive them from A to B.

Business Support Officer
Graeme Dougal
I have a few functions in BSCC. On a Monday I answer the phones and perform office admin tasks, and on Tuesdays I help the team out with some IT activities. I also drive the mini-buses when needed. When not at BSCC, I volunteer for Abilitynet (an IT support charity for the elderly and vulnerable) and travel about in my camper.

Business Development Manager
Colin Whiton
Originally from Newtonmore, I followed a career working for the John Lewis Partnership. I supported BSCC for several months in 2009 through a "Golden Jubilee Trust" attachment, sponsored by the JLP.
I have supported several voluntary organisations over the years and have recently moved back to the Valley having retired.
